Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the R-One line was engineered with size and weight in mind. At just 8.79 oz, this 12.7" handguard is lean enough for a lightweight build without cutting corners on durability. The ATLAS system uses mirrored tapered locking nuts and a custom barrel nut with a turnbuckle screw to apply even clamping pressure—a design that avoids the distortion some shooters see with other mounting methods. A ratcheting detent adds a final layer of positive registration and security.
The R-One ships with all necessary mounting hardware included and is fully compatible with standard AR308 upper receivers and barrels. It features a full-length top picatinny rail for mounting optics or accessories, M-LOK slots for tactical attachments, and quick-disconnect sling sockets at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions.
