The Ultradyne 6.5 Pegasus Tanker Compensator with 5/8x24 thread is a precision muzzle brake built for shooters who refuse to let recoil dictate their shot placement. The Pegasus design vent geometry produces a smooth, controlled gas release rather than a sharp jolt—the difference between riding out recoil and being pushed back by it. The brake is compatible with Ultradyne's Dynamount system, giving you flexibility as your rifle setup evolves.

The Pegasus fits any rifle with a 5/8x24 TPI threaded muzzle. That includes most modern magnum hunting rifles, precision rifle platform barrels, and many AR-10 builds. Verify your barrel's thread pattern before ordering.
Ultradyne does not recommend this compensator on barrels shorter than 12 inches. Shorter barrels may not provide adequate clearance or function safely with the brake's side-venting design.
Like all muzzle brakes, the Pegasus redirects gas to manage recoil—and that redirection produces noise. Side-porting brakes typically direct sound sideways and rearward. If sound signature is a concern, discuss hearing protection or suppressor options with our team.
The Pegasus comes with the brake itself and a 0.875-inch timing nut for securing it to your 5/8x24 threaded muzzle. Standard installation tools are not included.
