The design shaves roughly 25% off the weight of Magpul's original Hunter 700 stock and narrows the forend by about the same margin, making the rifle noticeably easier to carry and maneuver in the field without sacrificing rigidity. An extruded aluminum V-bedding block with reinforced steel pillars provides the receiver support and consistency you need for reliable accuracy, while the stock is made in the USA and built tough enough for serious hunting use.
The ergonomics reflect real-world hunting needs. A fully adjustable length of pull (13–15 inches using included spacers) and snap-on cheek risers let you dial in your fit, while integral sling swivel studs work with your preferred carry setup. An enlarged trigger guard accommodates gloved hands, and the ambidextrous magazine release is accessible and easy to operate.
