The Magpul Pro 700 Lite Long Action stock is a purpose-built chassis system for Remington 700 Long Action rifles and compatible footprints, delivering precision-rifle ergonomics without the weight penalty. If you're running a bolt gun for hunting or competition and want a complete, shooter-centric platform without breaking the bank, the Pro 700L Lite strips away complexity while keeping the features that actually matter—comb height and length-of-pull adjustments, ambidextrous controls, and rail real estate for mounting glass or accessories.
At 4.5 pounds, this chassis is a full pound lighter than its predecessor, making it easier to carry all day in the field or move around the range. The core is a billet-aluminum fore-end and bedding block wrapped in Magpul's tough injection-molded polymer for sound dampening and ergonomic shaping. The ambidextrous design means you can swap the bolt retainer plate to run it right or left-handed, and the adjustable grip accommodates different trigger reaches. Two grip options come in the box—one with a milder 5-degree forward sweep for a vertical hold, and a more aggressive option with an 8-degree forward and 20-degree aft sweep for shooters who prefer a lower hand position. Both grips fine-tune fore-and-aft position with a hex wrench across a 0.75-inch range.
The stock's rear end—inherited from the PRS Lite—offers 1.4 inches of length-of-pull adjustment (13.0" to 14.4" total) and 0.8 inches of comb height tuning, with a low-profile rubber butt-pad that adjusts for both height and cant. Sling attachments include an ambidextrous 1.25-inch Magpul footman's loop, a reversible QD cup, and a second QD socket slot if you want dual attachment points. The large trigger guard swallows gloved hands and fits most aftermarket triggers. Six M-LOK slots on each side and seven on the bottom give you plenty of mounting options for barricades, lights, or other kit.
AICS-pattern magazines feed the system, and the mag well includes a front barricade stop to keep the rifle off the magazine during field support. Ships with a Magnum Long Action 5-round PMAG. Made in the USA.
