The Aero Precision M5E1 6.5 Creedmoor assembled upper receiver in 20" rifle length is built for shooters serious about accuracy. Built from 7075 T6 forged aluminum and hardcoat anodized in matte black, the M5E1 receiver is built to last. The barrel is 416R stainless steel with a 1-8" twist rate—a proven choice for stabilizing the range of 6.5 Creedmoor target loads popular today. Aero's extended-length gas tube slows gas velocity for gentler, more reliable operation. The A2-style flash suppressor is already threaded on, and the receiver comes with ejection port cover and forward assist installed, so you're ready to build right away.
The integrated Gen 2 Enhanced M-LOK handguard offers a full-length, gap-free Picatinny rail on top, running from receiver to muzzle end. M-LOK slots at 3/6/9 o'clock positions and QD sling attachment points give you multiple ways to mount optics, lights, and accessories. The 1.78" inner diameter accommodates most muzzle devices and standard suppressors. Textured flats on the handguard provide a secure grip and distinctive look.
