If you want to run a modern reflex sight without cutting your slide, this mount replaces your factory rear sight and accepts the DeltaPoint Pro and other compatible red dots—then lets you swap it out or revert to iron sights whenever you need. Installation is straightforward. Remove the rear sight (a rear sight pusher tool is recommended), slide the EGW mount into the dovetail, and secure it with the included hardware. Once mounted, you'll place your DeltaPoint Pro or compatible optic on top, apply blue Loctite to the mounting screws, and torque them to spec. The whole job takes a few minutes, and you can undo it just as easily if you decide to go back to irons.

No. This mount is designed for the full-size M&P frame only. It does not fit the M&P Shield EZ .380, M&P .22 Compact, M&P C.O.R.E., SW9VE, or SW40VE models.
Yes. The mount is fully reversible. Simply remove the mounting screws and slide it out of the dovetail, then reinstall your factory rear sight whenever you want to switch back.
