The Aero Precision Atlas S-One 7.3" handguard is a lightweight free-float rail built for shooters who refuse to compromise on weight without sacrificing durability. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and featuring Aero's proprietary ATLAS attachment system, this M-LOK handguard delivers the strength and stability Aero is known for in a trim, capable package. At just 4.86 ounces (handguard only), it's purpose-built for hunters and shooters assembling an efficient AR-15 that won't slow you down in the field or at the range.
The ATLAS system is where this handguard sets itself apart. Two mirrored tapered locking nuts distribute clamping pressure evenly across a custom-engineered barrel nut using a turnbuckle screw, with a ratcheting detent for positive registration. This design avoids the distortion issues some shooters encounter during installation—every bit of engineering thought goes into making the build process smooth and the final result rock-solid. All mounting hardware is included, so you're ready to go straight out of the box.
The 7.3" length is ideal for intermediate-length builds that need a compact footprint without sacrificing rail real estate. You get front and rear picatinny slots for optic mounting and accessory flexibility, plus the top center has been eliminated to shave weight where it matters. M-LOK slots run the length for lightweight rail attachments, and quick-disconnect sling sockets are positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. Indexing grooves at the 12 o'clock position give you positive grip control, and the design works with low-profile gas blocks on mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers and barrels.
