The rear Ghost Ring sight is fully adjustable for windage and elevation and ships with two interchangeable apertures: a .230" opening for low-light work and a .191" for bright conditions. The larger Ghost Ring delivers excellent field of view, critical when you need fast target acquisition on a hunting or action-shooting rifle. The front sight is XS's signature White Stripe (WS) design—a blued steel post with a stark white stripe painted on the face. That white-on-black contrast cuts through poor light and stands out against any background, making the sight picture instinctive even in a hurry.
Installation is straightforward but permanent: you'll remove the factory rear sight and secure the rail with two screws, each torqued to 20 inch-pounds—no more, or you risk breaking fasteners. The lightweight anodized aluminum rail is machined to Picatinny spec, so you can mount any standard optic rail system. Because the rear sight moves from barrel to receiver, a trip to the range to re-zero is normal and expected.
