The Troy Gas Divert Pneuma Ambi Charging Handle 5.56 in Black is built to solve a real problem: unwanted gas blowback into your face when you're running an over-gassed rifle or using a suppressor. This ambidextrous charging handle actively diverts exhaust gases away from the shooter by routing them out the right side of the receiver through purposefully engineered vent channels. If you shoot suppressed or run a hot setup, the Pneuma keeps harmful lead particulates and powder gases out of your breathing zone so you can stay focused downrange.
The handle itself is milled from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with Type III hard-coat anodizing for durability in field conditions. A shaped ridge on top seals against your upper receiver and channels gas through the stem's vent ports—top and bottom—where it disperses safely away rather than back toward your face. The large, textured latches work smoothly with or without gloves, giving you reliable control during normal shooting and emergency weapon manipulation alike.
Troy engineered the Pneuma for serious use. It's American-designed and made in the USA, backed by a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Whether you're running a duty rifle, a match gun, or a suppressed hunting setup, this is a straightforward upgrade that addresses a genuine ergonomic and safety issue most shooters deal with.
