The Trijicon REAP-IR 24-3 thermal rifle scope is a compact, purpose-built thermal optic designed for hunters and shooters who need to engage targets in complete darkness, fog, rain, or heavy brush where traditional scopes fall short. Built on Trijicon's proven thermal technology, this 1.2-9.6x magnification scope delivers real-time heat signature imaging through a 640x480 resolution sensor, giving you the edge when light isn't an option. Whether you're hunting hogs at night, conducting predator control, or running low-light training drills, thermal imaging eliminates the guesswork and gives you target acquisition in conditions where conventional optics simply don't work.
The REAP-IR 24-3's 24mm objective and compact form factor make it quick to mount and manageable on most rifles without excessive weight penalty. The scope runs on either CR123 batteries or external USB power, giving you flexibility in the field—though battery life on a single CR123 is relatively modest at 2 hours, so bringing spares or a power bank is smart practice. The digital thumbstick interface and redesigned electronics are more responsive than earlier thermal designs, and the addition of external USB power support means longer missions without battery swaps. The 8x digital zoom helps you stretch your effective range, and multiple reticle options let you dial in your preferred aiming style.
Trijicon built this scope to last. The aluminum housing is submersion-rated to 1 meter and operates reliably from well below freezing to over 100°F. It ships with everything you need to get started: the mini Picatinny rail mount, USB cables, batteries, a protective case, and Trijicon's support documentation. If thermal hunting or night-ops shooting is in your future, the REAP-IR 24-3 is a serious, field-proven tool.

The REAP-IR 24-3 ships with a mini Picatinny rail mount, USB-C to USB-C cable, inline analog video adapter, user manual and quick reference guide, two CR123 batteries, a shuttered eye guard, a hard carrying case, a warranty card, and a Lenspen for lens maintenance.
A single CR123 battery provides approximately 2 hours of runtime. The scope also supports external USB power, which is ideal for longer field sessions—just connect a compatible USB power bank to avoid frequent battery swaps.
The scope is submersion-rated to 1 meter (3.28 feet) and operates reliably in rain, fog, and wet conditions. The aluminum housing and sealed optics are built for rugged field use, though it's not designed for extended underwater operation.
The scope uses Trijicon's QLOC quick-release system, which mounts directly to standard Picatinny rails. A mini Picatinny rail mount is included. Multiple reticle options are available to suit different shooting styles and preferences; refer to the manual or contact Bosque Outdoors for the full reticle lineup compatible with your configuration.
