The Taurus GX4XL 9mm pistol is a single-action microcompact carry gun built for shooters who want genuine capability in a genuinely compact package. At 6.43 inches overall length and 20 ounces unloaded, it's built to go where duty or daily carry demands—duty belt, appendix rig, or deep concealment. Taurus engineered the GX4XL around control and shootability. The flat-face serrated trigger—often preferred by operators and competitive shooters for its positive engagement and feedback—works with the signature Recoil Management Pad (RMP) and indexing geometry to help you stay on target through follow-up shots. Drift-adjustable rear sights let you zero the gun to your point of aim, and a fixed front sight keeps things simple and reliable. A visual loaded chamber indicator and striker block trigger safety give you immediate feedback and redundant safety: you'll know the gun's condition at a glance, and the trigger won't fire unless you're pressing it.
The GX4XL is stripped down for speed and simplicity. An easy take-down pin means field stripping takes seconds, the reversible magazine release adapts to your grip preference, and magazine and grip cuts help you dump magazines cleanly under stress. Taurus also built this gun with T.O.R.O. (Taurus Optic Ready Option) compatibility—if you want to mount a micro red dot down the road, the platform is there.
