Unlike the original MARK design, the AMP variant works even on helmets without rear rails—a meaningful advantage if you're running non-standard configurations or upgrading equipment piecemeal. The stowage method ditches the traditional pop-in mechanism; instead, you simply pull the ear cups away and rotate them backward when you need them out of the way.
