The IWI TAVOR X95 5.56 NATO conversion kit transforms your bullpup platform for intermediate-distance shooting and training. This is a complete caliber conversion system designed for right-handed shooters who already own a Tavor and want to add 5.56 NATO capability without buying a second rifle. The kit includes everything needed to swap calibers: a cold hammer-forged CrMoV steel barrel with 1:7 right-hand twist, a right-hand bolt assembly with carrier and recoil components, barrel installation tools, and a magazine setup tailored to the new caliber.
IWI's hammer-forged barrel construction delivers consistent accuracy and extended service life. The 18-inch length strikes a practical balance between velocity and maneuverability—short enough for tight handling in training or home-defense scenarios, long enough to wring out respectable performance from 5.56 NATO loads. The A2 flash suppressor helps manage muzzle signature during daylight shooting and keeps sight picture clearer when shooting in low light. The 5.56-specific deflector and frame ensure smooth feeding and reliable brass ejection, while the Magpul PMAG Gen M3 magazine included in the kit is a field-proven workhorse.
This conversion kit is built for shooters who value modularity and don't want to maintain two separate rifle platforms. Whether you're training on a budget, experimenting with different cartridges, or building out a multi-caliber setup, the Tavor X95 conversion approach lets you do it without starting from scratch. Right-handers will find the controls and ergonomics dialed in for their shooting style.
