The 12.5" barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1-7 twist rate, chrome-lined and manganese phosphate-coated for corrosion resistance and longevity. It's paired with a carbine-length gas system and Geissele's Super Compact Gas Block, tuned for reliability even in harsh conditions. The HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD muzzle device is already mounted, keeping a low profile while managing flash signature.
What sets this upper apart is the included Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group with Geissele's proprietary Stressproof Bolt, made from Carpenter 158+ steel and forged to optimize grain structure—rated for five times the service life of standard mil-spec bolts.
