The Gbrs Group Second Best Sling (SBS) is a minimalist rifle sling built for shooters and operators who refuse to compromise on weight without sacrificing functionality. Designed with extensive field testing and user feedback, this sling strips away unnecessary hardware and bulk—tipping the scales at just 2.7 ounces, roughly half the weight of traditional alternatives—while delivering the adjustability and comfort needed for serious carbine work.
The SBS works as either a single- or double-point sling, giving you flexibility in how you set it up on your rifle. The 40-inch adjustable front lead can be trimmed to your preferred length, while the 20-inch tail lets you dial in the fit for your body and loadout. The 16-inch neck pad uses tapered closed-cell crosslink foam to sit comfortably across your shoulders or back without catching or snagging when you transition your carbine. That padding is wrapped in a four-way stretch Tweave that moves smoothly against your neck and gear without friction or binding.
Where other slings rely on heavy metal hardware, Gbrs kept things simple: a single tri-glide on each end and a 4-inch double fold-over pull tab with two removable center bar tacks. If you prefer a thumb loop over the pull tab, you can strip out those tacks and reconfigure it to suit your needs. The result is a sling that weighs nothing, does everything, and doesn't pretend to be more than it needs to be. Note that QD attachments are not included; you'll need to supply your own or use existing hardware on your rifle.
