The Galco FL266R Fletch is designed for 1911 pistols with 4- to 4.25-inch barrels, which covers standard Government and Commander models. If your 1911 has a 3.5-inch Officer's barrel or a longer 5-inch barrel, you'll need a different model.
The Fletch is an outside-the-waistband (OWB) belt-slide design, which means it rides on the outside of your belt and is most practical for open carry. OWB holsters are typically worn at 3 o'clock (strong side), where they offer stability and fast access for sport shooting, duty carry, or situations where concealment isn't the priority.
The FL266R is cut specifically for right-handed shooters. Galco makes a left-handed version (FL266L) if you need it.
