Ankle carry works best when the holster disappears into your routine, and the AG160B is designed with that reality in mind. A wide neoprene band wraps securely around your ankle with a Velcro closure that adjusts to ankles up to 13 inches in circumference. Between the holster shell and your skin sits sheepskin padding—a detail that matters when you're wearing leather and neoprene for extended periods. The reinforced thumb break aids a consistent draw, and the holster's detailed molding keeps your revolver where it should be, even during active movement.
Construction pairs premium saddle leather with the neoprene band, offering durability without bulk. Yes. The AG160B is specifically molded to fit S&W J-frame revolvers with a 2-inch barrel, as well as the Charter Arms Undercover. If you carry a different revolver, verify the barrel length and frame size before ordering.
The neoprene band with Velcro closure adjusts to fit ankles up to 13 inches in circumference. If your ankle measures larger than 13 inches, this holster will not provide a secure fit.
Yes. Galco offers an optional adjustable calf strap sold separately that works with the AG160B if you want additional security or prefer that carry method. The holster works effectively without it as well.
The AG160B is right-hand draw only. If you need left-hand carry, you'll need to select a different model from the Galco lineup.
