The Aero Precision EPC-9 9mm assembled upper receiver with 8.3" barrel and 7.3" handguard is a complete, ready-to-run upper built for 9mm AR pistol and rifle builds. The EPC-9 upper receiver is purpose-designed for 9x19 ammunition and features a last-round bolt hold-open mechanism that keeps the bolt locked back after the final round—a quality-of-life feature that makes unloading and chamber checking safer and faster. The receiver accepts most standard AR15 barrel nuts and handguards and includes Aero's proprietary ATLAS mounting system, which balances weight savings with solid attachment strength. Dimensioning and machining are dialed for proper handguard timing, and the upper uses standard AR15 takedown and pivot pin lugs for drop-in compatibility with most lower receivers.
The included ATLAS R-ONE handguard is a lightweight, skeletonized design that doesn't skimp on rail real estate. It runs a full-length Picatinny rail across the top for optics, lights, or other furniture, and includes quick-disconnect sling sockets at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. The handguard has a 1.3" inside diameter and 1.5" outside diameter—slim enough to stay out of the way but rigid enough to handle whatever you mount. The 8.3" 9mm chrome-moly vanadium barrel is threaded 1/2"x28 (standard for 9mm suppressors) and finished with QPQ corrosion-resistant treatment inside and out.
Note: This upper does not include a bolt carrier group or charging handle, and the muzzle device is not pinned or welded, so you'll need to add those components separately. The barrel chamber is 9x19 Parabellum only.
