The 18-inch 416R stainless steel barrel with a 1-in-10 twist is dimensioned and balanced for .308 Winchester, paired with a low-profile adjustable gas block that lets you fine-tune cycling based on ammunition and suppressor use. A nitrided gas tube resists the heat and corrosion that comes with serious use. The upper receiver features a PA10 flat-top with feed ramps and includes both a forward assist and dust cover—the fundamentals matter when reliability counts. The Toolcraft bolt carrier group uses 9310 steel with an extra-strength extractor spring and full nitride treatment, while the gas key is properly staked with grade 8 fasteners.
