The inner surface features a smooth lining designed to facilitate a clean draw without snagging, while the exterior is wrapped in a suede-like material that feels comfortable against clothing and skin. Beneath that outer layer sits fused padding combined with a vapor barrier—that moisture-blocking layer helps keep your gun dry and protects your body from the hard polymer and sharp edges of the pistol frame. The holster also includes a special spiral binding construction meant to reduce hot spots and discomfort when worn directly against skin, so if you occasionally carry without an undershirt, it won't dig in.
