The Lightning Trigger—fastest lock time in its class—pairs with a ramped trigger guard for intuitive, fast reloads. New oversized bolt release and bolt handle make operation smoother in gloved conditions, and the redesigned stock and forearm now feature rubber overmolding that grips reliably even when wet or muddy. A screw-on magazine cap opens the door to competition-style magazine extensions if you ever want to go that route.
Durability is baked in: Cerakote Burnt Bronze finish on the receiver and barrel outperforms traditional bluing, while a nickel-Teflon coating on the bolt, bolt slide, shell carrier, and trigger group adds corrosion resistance and lubricity.
