The heart of any rifle is its barrel, and Bergara doesn't compromise here. The 22-inch No. 4 taper 4140 CrMo steel barrel is finished in Graphite Black Cerakote and delivers the accuracy Bergara built its reputation on in the custom rifle world. That barrel is married to Bergara's own B-14 Action—a two-lug system with a sliding plate extractor, coned bolt nose and breech, and butter-smooth feeding. The curved Bergara Performance Trigger breaks clean at roughly three pounds, encouraging precise shot placement without excessive creep.
The molded synthetic stock in green (with tan and black flecks for a tasteful camo appearance) is reinforced with fiberglass and features integral steel pillars permanently molded in place. This bedding design locks the barreled action solid for consistent accuracy. A SoftTouch coating gives the stock a tacky, sure grip even in wet or cold conditions. The rifle ships drilled and tapped for Remington 700 style rings and bases, so you can mount glass with standard 6-48 screws.
